Setting Up Hotmail To Check Your OVIS E-Mail

Customers using Hotmail can easily set up Hotmail so that they can check their e-mail on OVIS as well.  Just follow the steps below:

1. From within Hotmail, select Options

2. On the Options page, select "POP Mail Retrieval Settings"

3. Enter the following in the 1st POP Account section:
   
   

   POP Server Name	mail.ovis.net
   POP User Name	your user name on OVIS
   POP User Password	your password on OVIS
   Server Timeout	90
   Port Number	110
   Ucheck the box "Leave Messages on POP server"
   Check the box "Download new messages only"

4. Click the OK button at the bottom of the page.

Now when you go into Hotmail, you can click on the link “POP Mail”. This is located on the right hand side, under Hotmail Services. When you click this link, Hotmail will log into your e-mail account on OVIS and retrieve any new mail you have waiting.
