Setting Up Yahoo Mail To Check Your OVIS E-Mail
Customers using Yahoo Mail can easily set up Yahoo so that they can check their e-mail on OVIS as well. Just follow the steps below:
From within Yahoo Mail, select Options
On the Options page, select "Check Other (POP) Mail"
Click the "Add Mail Server" button
Enter the following information:
Mail Account Server mail.ovis.net Mail Account Username your user name on OVIS Mail Account Password your password on OVIS Port Number 110 Download to Folder Inbox Uncheck the box for "Leave mail on POP server"
Click the OK button
Now when you go into Yahoo Mail, you can click the link "Check Other Mail". When you click this link, Yahoo Mail will log into your e-mail account on OVIS and retrieve any new mail you have waiting.
