I noticed this rainbow in my rearview mirror as I drove I-68 in Preston County, WV, as I returned from a photography trip to Mineral County, WV, and Garrett County, MD. It had stormed extremely hard with heavy downpours and lightning. There was actually a double rainbow and it lasted for a much longer time than most rainbows. My biggest difficulty was finding a suitable foreground for the shot. I drove feverously along the country roads near Hazelton before getting this shot. I am pleased with this image but I know that there was an even better one out there if I had been more familiar with the local area.
